Fashion Fairground

We've been keeping an ear to the ground during Paris Fashion Week, following any coverage of the shows and unveiling of new collections.

When the curtain fell yesterday at the Louis Vuitton catwalk, revealing a full sized carousel with a white horse for each of the 48 models, it quite simply took our breath away.

With laser cutting, Broderie Anglaise, twinkling tulle, applique flowers, feathers and crystals, the ready to wear collection is elegantly ethereal.

Set to a soundtrack reminiscent of a little girl's musical jewellery box, even with Kate Moss on the runway and the heavenly icy coloured clothing; Marc Jacobs' candyfloss carousel still stole the show.
